The Home Depot

PIES CUADRADOS: 98,876 SF for stores, 452,900 SF for MDC METROS CUADRADOS: 9,185 SM for stores, 42,075 for MDC SECTOR: Commercial                   UBICACIÓN: Several stores throughout Mexico.

The first store we constructed for Home Depot was executed in 2002 in the city of Mexicali. In this project, we proposed, as a value engineering idea, the redesign of the steel structure. The customer accepted our proposal and had a major deduct in construction overall cost of the project. Since then, we have constructed more than 23 stores throughout different cities in the country.

Based on a good relationship and proven construction record, we worked with The Home Depot simultaneously in the design and construction of their two multi-distribution centers, located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and Atitalaquia, Hidalgo; each facility with an area of 452,900 SF. We started giving support to the customer since the pre-construction phase of the project, executing the design based on their company’s USA distribution center buildings using the local best construction practices.
