As part of our unwavering commitment to Social Responsibility, Grupo Hermosillo led a project that today brings joy to 30 children in Mexicali.
The boys who live at Casa Hogar para Varones (Cahova) are now enjoying their brand-new multi-use court, an inviting space where they can laugh, run, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Cahova is a Civil Association with 24 years of experience, dedicated to supporting children living in vulnerable situations. Since 2001, they have cared for more than 450 boys between the ages of 5 and 15, offering them a safe place to grow and dream. Today, the 30 boys who call Cahova home saw a long-awaited dream come true: a place to play, develop, and connect.
On September 3, donors, children, and Cahova’s team came together to inaugurate the new court. The celebration was filled with smiles, games, and the sound of bouncing balls. The children were the first to break into the court, playing soccer and basketball. A commemorative plaque was unveiled to mark this remarkable achievement, and the event ended with a shared breakfast that united everyone in one feeling: the joy of transforming lives.
At Hermosillo, we contributed not only our expertise, but also our hands and resources to make this dream a reality. But Hermosillo could not have written this story without the solidarity of the companies that joined this noble cause. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to: Construcciones Barragán, Constructora Alvape, Metalike, Roman Miranda, Sipro Recubrimientos, Diecsa, Holcim México, DicomsA, Epgc Laboratorio, Maderas Unión, and Alseide.
We believe every project is an opportunity for #BuildingBetterCommunities. We are proud to be part of initiatives that bring hope and happiness to those who need it most, because building is also about planting the seeds of hope.
