United in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Close

At Hermosillo, we stand in solidarity with all the women fighting breast cancer. This October, during Pink Month, we are committed to supporting this crucial cause by promoting awareness and health care among our team. From our offices in Mexicali, Mexico City, Monterrey, and Tijuana, we will carry out activities promoting prevention and the importance of opening the conversation about this disease.

How Are We Supporting the Cause?

Throughout October, we will be implementing various initiatives to make our support visible and motivate early detection:

  • Wear Pink: Our team members will participate by wearing pink to support survivors and those still battling the disease. We will share photos on our social media to demonstrate our solidarity.
  • Tips and Recommendations (“Pinkytips”): We will share helpful tips for detecting and preventing breast cancer on our digital platforms and internal magazine to encourage healthy self-care habits among everyone.
  • Support for Diagnostic Studies: We will provide information on doctors and clinics where our female team members can get mammograms and ultrasounds and share the costs. To track progress, we will implement a “Pink Counter” that will allow us to measure how many women have taken advantage of these resources to undergo the mentioned screenings.
  • Inspiring Testimonies: We will feature videos with testimonies from team members who have undergone their exams to encourage others to take that important step in caring for themselves.
  • Purposeful Lanyard: To constantly remind our team members, we will distribute a special lanyard symbolizing our commitment to the cause.
  • Educational Quizzes: We will organize quizzes on breast cancer to raise awareness within our community and provide critical information on prevention.
  • Informative Talks: We will hold virtual and in-person talks where experts educate our team on breast cancer prevention. Additionally, we will explain the benefits of our health insurance plan regarding diagnosing and treating this disease.
  • Rewards for Participation: To encourage health care, we will give prizes to those participating in the “Pink Counter,” recognizing their commitment to early detection.

United as a Team, Strong in Prevention

These activities not only help us support those who have faced or are facing breast cancer, but they also strengthen our sense of community and solidarity within Hermosillo. Every action we take reinforces our commitment to our employees’ health and contribution to a cause that affects us all.

Let’s wear pink this month, unite, and make our support visible! Together, we can make a difference.

Love yourself, check yourself, take care of yourself!
