In honor of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we organized our first Safety Week across all our construction sites in Mexicali. This initiative, held from April 29th to May 4th, was a powerful reminder of the crucial role each of us plays in ensuring safety in the workplace. It underscored the severe consequences of accidents in the construction industry and reinforced our commitment to a culture that prioritizes safety, health, and environmental care.
Our construction managers, project managers, superintendents, site supervisors, and contractors participated in various activities, such as workshops and conferences. Additionally, we had the valuable participation of some of our suppliers, including HOLCIM, Fundación Hélice, and HSE Consulting.
The greatest lesson from this Safety Week was the satisfaction of seeing how our team members committed to each activity and conference. We observed that what was learned is beneficial not only on the job but also in daily life. Also, the good camaraderie among all participants was highlighted during the “La Santa Cruz” event, which was gratifying for them and the organizers.
The resounding success and overwhelmingly positive response to our first Safety Week are testaments to our collective efforts and commitment to promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental care in our construction projects. This achievement fills us with pride and reinforces our belief in the power of such initiatives.
