We are delighted to share that this past Sunday, April 21st, the third edition of the “Somos Exe” Charity Run took place in Mexicali, Baja California. The run supports La Familia De Paco, which cares for terminally ill patients.
492 runners of all ages participated in the event. The starting point and finish line were at Adara Residencial, Section lll, a residential complex by Exe Inmobiliaria located on Novena St. and Apeninos Avenue. The race was divided into two routes: one of 2 kilometers and another of 5 kilometers.
Following the race, the participants gathered with their families, where everyone enjoyed the performance of “Los Califunkers.” Additionally, various booths from our sponsors were present: Coca-Cola, Rooibos Tea and Coffee, Star Milk, Electroneon, Café La Negrita, Grupo SATA, Ola Print, Revista Médica, D´Rechupete, Machi Yoga & Pilates, The Rebel Yogui, and Frutería Nenas.
The event concluded with an exciting awards ceremony, where we recognized the most outstanding runners in more than 14 categories. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Edna Martínez, who emerged as the overall winner in the women’s category, and to César Mireles, who was the overall winner in the men’s category. Your exceptional performance has truly inspired us all.
We appreciate the participation of all the runners and the support of our collaborators, thanks to whom we collected a total of 4 tons and 200 kilograms of basic provisions, medical supplies, and hygiene items. This provision, valued at approximately 226 thousand pesos, was delivered directly to La Familia De Paco at the end of the race.
